I’m really keen on the razor sharp/prickly feel of the illustration. The paper stock you’re using also creates a nice textural element. Nice work Martin! You draw wicked little beasties like no one else.

I am a big fan of this blog Martin, one reason being that the pieces are always great, but I think what I like the most is that you are always evolving the style, and the mood in each piece. This one totally punched me in the face (which is a good thing)totally unexpected. Are you aware of what direction you want to go in with each piece or do you kind of freestyle it, and see what happens? Keep it up man.

Not only is the drawing fantastic and filled with life but the technique is sickeningly good too! Love the painted bg with vibrant foreground characters and elements. Such a nice combination.
It's little things like that which make a charming illustration that much more special!
