I was watching a show on sea life, and i was inspired to do some sketching!

Dynamic fish, very nice! i was watching a program today about the Aquarium in Spain, it made me want to go swimming...

Are these mostly from memory?

TV images flicker by so quickly- I would find it difficult to end up with such detail.

Ah! I remember animation school when we'd take field trips to animal farms or biology labs at the local university to sketch animals and their skeletons. I also remember that one jackass rubbing a severed cat's paw on me. >:(

Anyway, those are some good, solid fish. Even though their still pictures, they look like they're swimming. That's usually the mark of a good drawing.

Brilliant work Martin, full of life and energy. there was a fantastic program on the bbc called Planet earth which had some great footage on piranhas.
