---THAT ELEPHANT IS AMAZIN'...LUV THE COLORS TOO, GREAT STUFF MARTIN...---BIG AL
INCREDIBLE! Your posts get better and better. Good stuff.
hollee crap martin your my hero!
Martin:This is terrific! How did you color this? What kind of pen did you use?Dave
Chhuy-ing--Big Al--Mike--Gettofab---Thank guys! I appreciate the feedback. Cheers!Dave- Thanks man, actually, almost all of my posts, including this one were done on a cintiq. I sketch it in photoshop, and add some color. When I'm NOT drawing in digital, i usually use a micron or some sort of fine tiped pen...I'm happy though that these posts are looking natural, and not digital. It's taken me a little while to replicate that natural non digital look. Thanks again for the nice comments.
Hey Martin, I like this one. It's very fun, and feels more lighthearted than some of the pirates and mermaids(not that there's anything wrong with them.) I particularly like the elephant's thin, boney legs.
Nice! The tree, the line work on the elephant - EVERYTHING! Wow!
Dude, that Elephant is off the hizzy, or whatever it is kids these days say.
All the elements in this are amazing! I don't know what else to say, so I'll just an add extra sentence.
Thanks, beautiful drawing!!
great new drawing.....I like the character in that elephant's face...
great angle. that is one humpy elephant. pretty cool. i wonder what they're chatting about.
That's on a cintiq? Damn. Nice. I haven't gotten the hang of it yet. We have them now at work, but half the time I'm still thumbnailing my stuff on paper and scanning it in. I would have never known. Really nice.
HA!THESE are GREAT man!!! Great character and great simple and effective lighting. NICE MAN, VERY STRONG and VERY IMPRESSIVE.MAC
You should run a caption contest on this one... It looks like a good setup for a New Yorker cartoon.
